$WAMPLAND Plays 2017 San Francisco Fringe Festival
September 10, 15, 16, and 20

Other Voice's collection of seven political one-act plays!

San Francisco - August 17 2017 - Other Voices in Association with the Playwrights' Center of San Francisco will present $WAMPLAND as part of the 16-day San Francisco Fringe Festival, September 8 through 23, 2017.

When running for president, Donald Trump said he would “Drain the Swamp.” In a game changing presidency, we now wonder whether it is a swamp or America itself that is being drained.  In $WAMPLAND, seven award-winning Bay Area playwrights, Patrick M Brennan, Bill Hyatt, Susan Jackson, Charley Lerrigo, Lorraine Midanik, Madeline Puccioni, and L. Zephyr, present their visions of what “making America great” means.

$WAMPLAND will play at the Exit Theatre (156 Eddy St, San Francisco, CA 94102) on Sunday September 10th at 8:30 pm, Friday September 15th at 8:30 pm, Saturday September 16th at 4:00 pm, and Wednesday September 20th at 8:30 pm.

Entering its 26th year, the San Francisco Fringe Festival brings fresh, daring, exciting theater of all varieties to open-minded audiences of all persuasions. Often over-the-top and under-the-radar of traditional theater, “The Fringe” whose motto is "No Risk, No Art", has its rabid devotees – and wins more fans every year. Most performances run under an hour and Fringe Fans have fun trouping from venue to venue, seeing as many shows as they can in one day.

The 2017 San Francisco Fringe Festival, September 8-23 (every day but Mondays), brings 38 shows to San Francisco’s EXIT Theatreplex, 156 Eddy Street, and to PianoFight, 144 Taylor Street. Both venues are within walking distance of Union Square and the Powell Street BART station. For complete listings of venues, shows and times go to www.sffringe.org or get the “San Francisco Fringe Fest” mobile app at the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can also call the Fringe Hotline at (415) 673-3847. Tickets are $12 (at the door, cash only) or less per show, with a ten-show Frequent Fringer pass at $85 and a five-show pass at $45. Online sales are available at the
